Red Abstract Digital Art

This piece was produced in November 2022. When I created this piece, I wanted to limit my pallet to only two colours. I didn't want to limit my creativity by doing so, but I wanted to see how if I could create a very striking piece with only two colours!

Deep red takes the viewer on a ride through the painting. It starts at the front left with your eye following up and over the red stream - almost like you are on a rollacoaster! Up and over, then down to the right where the sharp red slash cuts through abruptly.

Red is often thought of as a DANGER colour, but I love using it especially on it's own or as part of a very limited pallet. Because I was using a limited pallet, I wanted to introduce some excitment for the viewer with texture. I love seeing the texture when up close to it. From a few steps away, this softens and blends with the rest of the picture.

As a large picture, these colours really work well together and would brighten any wall. Best viewed from a few meters away!
