Digital Art - By David J Moore

Brown Blue Grey Abstract Digital Art

This piece was produced on January 21st 2023. So, brown, blue & grey? What about the pink? I chose not to include pink in the title simply because I don't really like pink as a colour. So why did I choose it? Truth is - I didn't! I have started to 'borrow' colour palettes from photos, pictures and illustrations shared on Social Media. This particular palette was borrowed from another piece of art. I hope that the artist would see this as 'flattery' and not 'theft'. It is my intention to honour them (and their work) by picking some of their colours from their post and using them in a completely differnt way in a unique piece of my own.

We are all inspired and influenced by things and people around us.

This is similar to the way I match people rooms to a unique piece of my art. Clients send me photos of their room or furnishings (sometimes even colour paint swatches) and I pick the colours from these to create a colour palette  to use in one of my paintings. This is a process that produces a perfect colour-matched piece of art for my client's room.

I hope that you like this piece inspires you to send me your colour palette.

Whatever it makes you feel - I hope you like it and it works for you!

If you do, please can you help me by sharing this page on social media.
