This piece was produced on March 25th 2023.
Created from a photograph of St Ives (one of my favourite places) I used all of the colours from the scene to create my St Ives palette. The actual scene is of the sea and beach at St Ives on a typical 'out of season' blustery day. I really love seaside towns out of the holiday season so you can really appreciate the towns character without the obligatory blow-up beach toys and windbreakers etc.
I hope that you have witnessed a British seaside town like St Ives out of season.
