Brighton is a vibrant seaside town that I love visiting. This painting of the beach in Brighton was inspired when I was visiting my sister who lives nearby. I really love this painting. Personally, I think I have really caught the sky that I saw on the day.

While it was quite calm, the sea had stunning rolling waves lapping up the beach but what really excited me was when the sky started to change due to an incoming storm. The clouds quickly gathered and changed from a light grey to a very angry looking dark grey. This painting hopefully captured the time just before the storm clouds took control over the seascape.
